About BookBuddies

Who we are

BookBuddies is a small family studio based in Attard, Malta. We make personalised hardcover storybooks where your child is the hero of every page, with their name, their face and, if you like, their parents, grandparents and pets alongside them.

BookBuddies was founded by Niki Sina, who has spent more than 20 years in print, branding and design, from running print shops to producing work for festivals and cultural events. BookBuddies brings that experience to something close to home: books our own kids love to read again and again.

How your book is made

Choose a story from our collection and fill in your child's name, age and dedication.
Upload a clear photo of your child, plus any extra family members or pets you add.
We create the book in our studio and email you a PDF proof.
You approve it. One round of changes is included, and nothing is printed until you say yes. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve.
We print and ship. Your book is printed by our professional print partner close to your delivery address and sent with a tracked carrier.

Our promise

Every book is made to order. If your book arrives damaged, misprinted or incorrect, we reprint it at no cost. See our refund policy and shipping policy for full details.
